Brand Spotlight // Sweat Love Soul: “My 7-year-old daughter, Liv, and I came up with the idea of creating a clothing line with a purpose. Our vision was to not only create the most comfortable pieces of clothing that can be worn from day to night, but also to create clothing that gives a sense of power, strength, and love within all who wear it. Let what you wear bring out the humble warrior from within. A simple reminder is all we need to feel brave, powerful, and above all, confident being exactly who we were born to be. We believe all humans deserve this freedom. Our designs are subtle, but the meaning is deep.
Sweat Love Soul is honored to be a fundraising partner of Children’s Hospital Colorado. A portion of all our sales goes directly to this beautiful place. In the words of Liv, “Mommy, no matter what these kids are going through, I want them to wear our shirts and know they are loved.” Kelly Gulbrandsen ,Founder of Sweat Love Soul Clothing // www.sweatlovesoul.com
Pop-Up Installation // Shiki Dreams: On Tuesday, Feb. 25, Prismajic, creators of Natura Obscura, will launch an immersive arts pop-up experience called “Shiki Dreams,” located at 2219 E. 21st Ave., Denver, CO 80205. “Shiki Dreams” follows on the heels of the smash hit Natura Obscura, a 2019 collaborative installation with MOA (Museum of Outdoor Arts), featuring 25 Colorado-based artists. Natura Obscura, which means “hidden nature,” was a visually stunning walk through a surrealist forest that served as a metaphor for an exploration of the life of the mind. The installation begged the question, “What’s your nature?”
Prismajic’s 1,200-square-foot pop-up installation is a fun and beautiful step into the world of Shiki, the spiritual yeti guide and leader of the Spirits of the Forest from Natura. The experience explores the dreams of this most wise spirit in a multi-sensory experience of stunning creativity.
“We’re thrilled to provide an opportunity for the public to continue its journey alongside Shiki through this one-of-a-kind pop-up experience in our studio space,” said Eric Jaenike, co-founder of Prismajic. “Visitors are invited to explore a journey of majic and discovery in an interactive exhibit incorporating augmented reality and digital technologies.” Tickets to “Shiki Dreams” are $14 for ages 6 and up and can be purchased at www.prismajic.com beginning Jan. 31.
