This month, Cherry Creek Shopping Center launches the Community First initiative which includes shining a spotlight on the wonderful employees at various brands and supporting charities and organizations in the community. In part 5 of our 8-part weekly Community First Series, we feature Letatia McCoy of Tory Burch. Cherry Creek Shopping Center will be donating $1000 on behalf of Letatia to Dress For Success.
Cherry Creek Fashion: You’ve worked at Tory Burch at Cherry Creek for 10 months, what’s your favorite thing about working here?
Letatia McCoy: My favorite thing about working at Tory Burch is the amazing company culture. I love the amazing fashion, handbags, and jewelry. I also love that one aspect of the business is to educate and empower female entrepreneurs through the Tory Burch Foundation.
CCF: How long have you lived in the Denver area, and what do you enjoy the most about living here?
Letatia: I have lived in the Denver area for seven years. I love that I get the opportunity to explore Colorado and experience the beauty of its' many amazing landscapes.
CCF: When you are not at work, what are your favorite things to do?
Letatia: When I am not working, I enjoy road trip adventures. I love seeing new places and meeting new people. My other hobbies include reading, sewing, entertaining friends with dinner parties, and cooking, cooking, cooking. Yes, I know the Food Network is trying to reach me!
CCF: Are you involved in any community organizations or charities in the Denver area?
Letatia: I love volunteering and supporting my local church. I love the outreach we provide to the community. We are able to meet the needs of many in various ways.
CCF: In addition to Tory Burch, what are your favorite stores and restaurants to visit at Cherry Creek?
Letatia: Well quite naturally I enjoy shopping at Tory Burch but I also love shopping with Heather and her team at Altar'd State. They provide phenomenal service. Kona Grill and Hillstone are great places to dine at Cherry Creek.
