Neiman Marcus in Cherry Creek recently held their Spring Fashion Presentation with Buyers Mark Lawson and Kel Rowe. For this week’s Trend Report, Mark and Kel talk about their favorite trends for the season and give advice on how to wear them. Here is our coverage of the event.

Esther Lee Leach: Mark, what is your favorite trend for Spring?     

Mark Lawson: My favorite trend for the season is "The Return of The Jacket" from a tailored blazer to a sleek leather moto jacket. 

ELL: How can women easily incorporate this trend into their wardrobe?  

ML: A tailored sartorial jacket with your favorite denim or casual pant, fluid skirt or over a dress. Even as a polished power suit. It is an important traveling piece.  

ELL: What brands at Neiman Marcus are carrying the jacket trend this season?  

ML: Balmain, Chanel, Escada, Giorgio Armani, Akris Punto, Cucinelli, Ralph Lauren, Dolce&Gabbana and Michael Kors Collection.

Esther Lee Leach: Kel, what is your favorite trend for Spring?     

Kel Rowe: To be transparent! PVC in handbags and shoes is all the rage. Mixed with straw, metallic leathers, crystals or pearls, PVC goes from day to night.

ELL: How can women incorporate this trend into their closets?  

KR: The trend is great because it is day to evening and fun for travel outfits, so fresh!

ELL: What brands at Neiman Marcus are carrying the PVC trend this season?

KR:  PVC is utilized by Christian Louboutin, Chanel, Valentino, Gianvito Rossi, Prada, Miu Miu, Roger Vivier. Stella McCartney, Balmain and so many others!
