Esther Lee Leach: Why did you create BodyLove by Tal?
Natalya King: I created BodyLove by Tal because everyone talks about the importance of putting good things inside your body but never talk about the importance of what you put on the outside. Our skin is our first line of defense and the biggest organ on our body. 60 percent of what we put on our skin is absorbed in our bloodstream. I was tired of going to the grocery store and being mislead by labels. Just because it said it was “organic” it still had multiple chemicals in it. Our vision is to create chemical free, non toxic and preservative free products with the highest quality organic, all natural, vegan, and cruelty free products while teaching and educating our consumers through our interactive and Do It Yourself model promoting the importance of positivity, self love, and self care.
ELL: Tell us more about your company and the products that you create?
NK: BodyLove by Tal is a company specializing in hand crafted and customizable organic and all natural body, face, and hair products. We do face systems, body butters, body scrubs, bath bombs, shower steamers, deodorant, face mask, hair masks, and hair serums.

ELL: . How do you develop your skincare products?
NK: We develop our skin care products with a simple formula that we have used and researched for years, and from that we build several different formulas .
ELL: Why is it so important to use natural and organic skin products?
NK: It’s important to use natural and organic skin care products because what we use on our skin is absorbed through our bloodstream and is directly linked to skin and medical conditions that are preventable.

ELL: Describe your morning skincare routine.
NK: My morning skincare routine changes depending on my skin needs which directly correlates with my stress level and diet. Those are triggers for my skin. Some days I just use water and the anti-aging serum. When my skin is looking dull and I want an instant pop, I use my face mask with fresh squeezed seasonal fruits and or vegetables . I really try to encourage my customers to really pay attention to their skin as your daily routine should be flexible.
ELL: What is your nighttime routine?
NK: At nighttime , if I’m removing makeup, I use the anti-aging oil cleanser. I follow with the clarity herbal cleanser, toner and then the clarity face serum .
ELL: What are your top three skincare or makeup products?
NK: My top three skin care or make products are my anti aging and clarity face system products. I love experimenting and combining my products. I love my scrubs it leaves my skin silky smooth and moisturized. I am also loving Moore for Life makeup. I really don’t wear a lot of makeup but I love what he’s created for me. It gives me a natural glow.

ELL: Are you developing any new products?
NK: Yes, I’m always in the space of research and development. I’m getting ready to release a new way of cleansing and conditioning the hair with clays . We’ve had amazing results and feedback. I’m excited. Education will be very important in this process and many believe you need suds or lather to cleanse the hair and skin but that is very untrue .
